You’ll need to follow the instructions while mixing the paste in your bucket. Once you have moved a step ahead, you’ll need to get your newspaper strips soaked with your paste. Press the strips gently after you’ve laid them upon the mould. This will allow your strips to be mixed with your paste. If you wish to mix them faster, you may use a hard object that yields quality effect. In order to obtain a consistent shape for your plates, you’ll need to apply 3 to 4 coats of paste. Remove all air bubbles after applying each layer of paste, so that it remains consistent throughout the process. Once you remove the dry ones from the mould, please check if more newspaper strips are required to make it stable. If you need more strips, you may use tissue papers instead. If you create the final layer with tissue papers, then the surface will be unlined and smooth. Once the paste is added, you may leave your plate for some time, so that it dries up quickly. This process has to be repeated 3 to 4 times for each plate that you need to decorate. As you keep on decorating more and more plates, you may feel a bit tired. Take some rest and start afresh. This will keep a check on minor mistakes. Compare each plate with the previous ones just to be sure that they are identical in size and shape.
